Program of Activities

UNFCCC provides a mechanism – CDM Programme of Activities (CDM-PoA), which can be registered once as a whole and can act as an umbrella for all similar projects, called as “CDM Programme Activities”.

Such mechanism has been introduced to overcome with hurdles faced by small-scale developers under CDM in regards to cost and time taken in CDM-process. For example, in developing Solar Projects, cost & time taken are high in the CDM process.
