Wind IPP Summit 2014 Annual Event, India’s premier wind energy event, presented an international platform for the wind energy industry to showcase and demonstrate its latest products and services. As well as an extensive exhibition, the event featured a broad conference program and unrivaled networking opportunities. “EnvironmentFirst” being carbon partner of the event participated in all discussion panels. The first-day session was addressed by Directors Mr. Abhishek Majumdar and Mr. Anand Pandey, they emphasized the need of promoting wind energy as till date its the most economical and commercial alternate for the energy need of India. However the GOI has made all the efforts for the success of Wind program in India but still more R&D is required to lower the cost of WTGs. They emphasized that the wind power project doesn’t pose handling and disposal of scrap left after the project life also the land required to install the project is very less if compared to other prevalent renewable energy resources. They also mentioned the special incentives being provided by GOI in the form of GBI and AD.
8th edition of Renewable Energy India Expo
EnvironmentFirst Energy Services (P) Ltd. participated in the 8th edition of the Renewable Energy India Exhibition and Conference (REI), (3rd – 5th September 2014) at the Indian Exposition Mart Ltd., Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida (NCR of Delhi). The inaugural session was graced by Shri Anil Jain, IAS, Adviser (Energy), Planning Commission, Govt. Of India, amongst international guests, Mr. Munehiko Tsuchiya, Executive Director, NEDO, Japan, Mr. Dillon Banerjee, Counselor for Commercial Affairs, US Commercial Services, US Embassy, New Delhi, Mr. Luigi Estero, First Counsellor, Head of Economic and Commercial Section, Ms. Rosaline Kwan, Acting Minister (Commercial), High Commission of Canada, Mr. Phil Marker, Counsellor & Head – Energy, Climate & Growth Unit, British High Commission and Ms Henriette Faergemann, Environment, Climate and Energy Counsellor in the European Union Delegation to India.
The Three day exhibition was visited by prominent industrialist and investors from different parts of the world. “EnvironmentFirst” has received more that 350 queries about the Renewable Energy and Carbon consulting services in three day events. Also two MOU were signed in the event.
RENERGY-2014 BY TEDA
(The International Conference cum Exhibition on Renewable Energy)
To promote the State Nationally & Internationally as an attractive investment destination for Renewable Energy, an event under the name RENERGY 2014 was organized on 12th, 13th & 14th June, 2014 at Chennai Trade Centre, (CTC) Chennai. The event was a phenomenal success with around 200 exhibitors, 2,000 conference delegates and about 15,000 visitors. All Senior Officers from Govt. of India connected with the sector participated. “EnvironmentFirst” being carbon partner of the event participated in all discussion panels. Short Term Course on “Harnessing of Energy in harmony with Ecology” (16-20 Dec, 2013)

A one week Short Term Course on “Harnessing of Energy in harmony with Ecology” was organized by department of Electrical Engineering at PEC University of Technology from 16.12.2013 to 20.12.2013 under Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP-II). Around 40 participants from the technical and other institutes of the region and also from within the institute attended the course. The speakers from various prestigious organizations including both from industry and academia delivered expert lectures on wide ranging topics related to harnessing and conservation of energy. Mr. Harish Sharma Business Head (EnvironmentFirst Energy Services (P) Ltd. has delivered expert lecture on the trending technologies of renewable energy like Solar, Hydro, Wind and Biomass based electricity generation and technicalities. Tejinder Singh Saggu, Prof. S. K. Suman and Prof. K. K. Garg of the Electrical Engineering Department organized and coordinated this course. The candidates were delighted to have attended this course and appreciated that the topic of the course is highly relevant to the present times. Ms. Kusum, IRS, Joint Commissioner Income tax inaugurated the course on 16.12.2013 and the valedictory function was presided over by Prof. Manoj Arora, Director PEC University of Technology on 20.12.2013.
